The premise behind this piece is derived from finding a news article of personal preference and work of art must be created using select words and phrases that are either derogatory or opposite of the tone conveyed in the reading.

The Tampa Tribune article describes the events of Metrocon, and features a figure wearing a colorful hand-crafted outfit. Fear and strangeness are opposite tones used to describe the featured outfit, thus, using selected words quoted from the reading, I have illustrated the figure in an intimidating posture and filled in the details using the text.
